MITCHELL S. PRESSER
Partner
Mr. Presser is a Partner of Paine & Partners, LLC and member of the Investment Committee of its $1.2 billion Fund III. He brings industry expertise in the financial services and food & protein sectors.
Mr. Presser was raised in Brooklyn, NY. He is a graduate of New York University (B.S. in accounting, 1986) and Yale Law School (J.D., 1989).
After graduating from Yale Law School, Mr. Presser joined the New York law firm Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz and was named partner in 1996. At Wachtell, Mr. Presser built a successful practice concentrating on mergers and acquisitions, private equity, leveraged buyouts, corporate governance and securities law matters and advised our predecessor firm on numerous acquisitions and dispositions including Seminis, Advanta, United American Energy and ACMI, among others.
Mr. Presser joined the firm in 2006 and is currently a member of the Board of Directors of Icicle Seafoods, Inc. and Capital Z and is an active member of the New York State Bar Association.
