ANGELOS J. DASSIOS
Director
Mr. Dassios was raised in Chicago, Illinois. He is a graduate of Dartmouth College (A.B., Applied Mathematics, Summa Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa, 1996).
After graduating from Dartmouth, Mr. Dassios joined Goldman, Sachs & Co. in New York as a Financial Analyst in the Investment Banking Division. While there, he assisted clients in a variety of transactions ranging from capital raisings to mergers and acquisitions.
In 1998, Mr. Dassios joined the Principal Investment Area at Goldman Sachs to help invest and manage a group of private equity funds known as GS Capital Partners. Mr Dassios focused on investing in emerging technology sectors, retail, manufacturing and oil services.
Mr. Dassios joined the predecessor firm in 2002 and had responsibility for Fund II investments in Seminis, Inc. and United National Group, Ltd. After leaving in 2004 to pursue outside interests, Mr. Dassios returned to the firm in 2006 in conjunction with the raising of the firm’s $1.2 billion Fund III.
Mr. Dassios is a member of the Board of Directors of some entities of the Stable-Group.
